The Holiday Drink – The Method
WHere is a home-style version of a cocktail from our latest drinks list. Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed which is loaded with the essence associated with festive period, rendering it ideal for your holiday party. Reserve the remaining cordial you can use for morning drinks, sweets, or for additional servings of bikinis.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 people
To make the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
Making the Cordial: Put all the ingredients inside a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the heat allowing it to cool down completely. Pour to a sterilised bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the fridge, it can be stored for up to four weeks.
To make Premix: Mix the specified liquid ingredients into one sizeable container, leave to sit for an hour, then strain , ideally through cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base to a mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring gently for one minute until cold. Strain into an cold coupe glass or similar, decorate with some cranberries and complete it with a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
